So hard to read the brutal words that shape her life. The most brilliant line that brought me to my knees is about coloring. Why care anymore about coloring in the second grade when in the scheme of her life and being abused everynight by her father, does it really matter? WHen her teacher tells her to care, one is not surprised when she says, "really?"
